It has been a while since my last post. Sorry! I got the over the knee boots and decided to return them, they were beautiful but I think my legs are a little skinny for them (first world problems). They were too baggy by the end of the evening and I just couldn’t look past it. I literally lost sleep over the decision to keep or return the Seychelles boots. Yes, I am being serious 🙄. I still have the dream of owning a pair of boots like these and I am on the search for the perfect fit.
Here is the look I put together to debut the boots. They are definitely a going out boot and not an everyday boot, in my opinion.
This look was so fun to pick out! The black dress and drapey jacket are from the Juniors department in Nordstrom. The necklace is Stella and Dot. I have become obsessed with their jewelry. The quality is amazing and every piece is so special 🙂 .
They are too baggy right? Or, am I just crazy?!
I will keep you updated on my boot hunt! With the change of season coming, I may wait until the next winter, unless these go on sale then I may consider them a half size down to see if that helps with the bagginess. I am a true 8.5 but got these in a 9 because that is all that was available. Unless I find something that fits better 😉 .
On a different note, today is the one year anniversary of my blog! YAY! I can’t believe it has been a year. I created this blog when I was feeling blah and a little sad. I wanted to create something for me, outside of being a mommy, that I enjoyed and could be an outlet for my fashion obsession. OMGANDMORE has been such an amazing way for me to express myself and share my love for fashion 🙂 . Thank you for reading!
I really only have ONE pair of blue denim that I like. They are high rise, skinny and I got them on sale 😬 . Why is it so difficult finding the perfect pair/fit/color/rise of jeans? It was like discovering pizza for the first time when I found these. They are my first real “high rise” denim and yes, I wear them almost everyday…. That’s why I am now looking for another pair so I don’t ruin these in a matter of months. Here are the ones I love:
The next pair I get need to be high rise for sure and maybe a lighter denim with some holes? My husband would say, “holes? Really? That’s ridiculous!” But what does he know? 😂 I have been considering adventuring to GAP for some nicely priced denim. When I have tried GAP in the past, the denim have stretched too much or they just weren’t comfortable but I am optimistic that I can find a great fitting pair! (I am really trying to not be a jean snob right now) Here is a pair I was checking out online, they are mid-rise and would definitely need to be tried on. I love that they are a totally different look with the loose fit and worn denim. GAP always has a sale online which makes shopping feel a little more guilt free 😉
I am OBSESSED with the next pair of jeans! They just look amazing, too bad they are sold out of all sizes but one. Of course they are on sale too. Maybe they will be in your size?
Lastly, when in doubt just get the jeans you love in another color. RIGHT?

If you don’t know already, I am Nordstrom obsessed. My friends and family think I buy everything expensive and full-priced. Yes, I am a mall rat and yes, I have a shopping problem. I mean, at least I admit it right? The truth is, I put items I want in my ‘wish list’ and wait until they go on sale before I buy them, unless it is something amazing and I need it right away! In the case of a must-have-emergency, I will still place my new item in my ‘wish list’ on Nordstrom.com and if it goes on sale within a couple weeks they will price adjust. 🙂 Anyway, the Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale is going on so of course I checked all the items on my list first thing when the sale started a few days ago. Sadly, only a few of my items were on sale. I browsed the sale online and I am a little disappointed. I mean, is a Marc by Marc Jacobs or Rebecca Minkoff Hobo bag marked half-off too much to ask for? Not sure what I was hoping for but there just wasn’t anything AMAZING. (first world problems) Of course I still bought a few things. 🙂
Yes, I am also obsessed with the Treasure and Bond brand.
When I shop for clothes I either LOVE or I HATE, there is no in-between. Today, I did some in-store and online “window shopping” and I found some LOVE items. Usually I peep out what is online before going into the store (Nordstrom mostly), so I know what I am looking for. Although I could spend hours at the mall I have learned to shop more efficiently since I usually have at least on of the kids with me. Last night, I saw some ADORABLE torn jeans (AG brand which I never tried but I have been wanting to for a while), yes I have torn jeans but I seem to be wearing them A LOT lately and thought it would be good to get another pair but in a different wash. The AG jeans I found are a “skinny boyfriend fit.” Normally I wear jeans pretty tight so I thought it would be nice to try something a little different. Anyway, I went in today after work (thank you mom for babysitting) and tried them on and LOVED them!
The sandals in the picture are horrible but I think the jeans are adorable and different.
Next, I have been on the hunt for a good pair of summer sandals (easy to wear and dress up or dress down). I like these because they are simple with some super cute gold accents. I am crazy for gold and I like that they are not very high. These are Steve Madden.
The white v-neck is ALWAYS a good choice and so easy to LOVE. I think these three items could be worn together easily, ooh and a adorable necklace would tie it all together. The v-neck is Stem and the necklace is BP.
I know what you are thinking, is it okay to wear gold and silver together? To be honest, I don’t know but I think it is good to try new things 🙂
