dance off, pants off

Well there was dancing this morning but sorry we kept our pants on. I think a little dancing makes any morning a good morning. Especially with terrible dance moves. Now, the outfit. OMFG I love this skirt I just picked up. It is a great length and so fun. A friend (does it count if she makes commission off my purchases?) of mine who helps me shop at Nordstrom has really gotten me into fun patterns. I love the idea of putting unexpected items together and now I love mixing patterns and prints. I have been thinking “outside the box” when putting my outfits together lately. I mean, who wants to dress just like the person a cubical over? Not this girl. I never would have put leopard print and stripes together but now it’s like why not, can’t a girl have some fun?

These BP flats are super comfy, minus no arch support and they were less than $50. The flats can go with anything, get outside your head and just try them, you will not be sorry. The skirt is Ace Delivery and the shirt is Trouve (all from Nordstrom). Today, I took the easy route with a white shirt but I plan to wear a shirt with pattern next time.  Oh and the chain necklace is Baublebar πŸ™‚ . The necklace is a little intense but I love it. At first I was scared to wear it, not that I would be robbed but I was afraid of what people would think. Then I decided not to worry about what everyone else was thinking and do what I want to do.

Thanks for reading,
